America’s most trusted authority on relaxation Matthew McConaughey believes in the fanny pack. He wore his very own to a baseball game on Sunday, where he gave a prepared lecture about the benefits of the waist pouch:
I got so much gear in here I don’t want in my pockets. I’m not afraid of the fanny pack. You gotta kind of put it on the side to make it look a little, not as nerdy. But still, practicality wins out … They’re coming back. They’re on their way back, some decade from now.
Some decade from now — if the patient McConaughey just waits for time to pass faithfully enough — everything that is good on this Earth, such as the winningly practical fanny-pack, will rise again.
